Wastewater & Water Treatment Construction Manager - Contract (US ONLY)

Location: Exton, PA, United States
This role will be full time on site at various water treatment sites that will all be upgraded.  In this role the candidate needs to have understanding of NJ permitting for any sites requiring such as well as NJ rules and regulations for soliciting other services like electrical contracting. This means preparation of the proper paperwork to have a publicly bid subcontracted work package.

Job Responsibilities:
(including but not limited to)
  • Work with senior management to refine planning, preliminary design, and final design projects
  • Provide consultation in specialized areas, make decisions, and solve problems
  • Prepare and Submit Public Bid Documents for Panel Fabrication and Installation on site
  • Receive and review all contractor submittals
  • Oversee and Inspect all subcontractor work on site
  • Create and maintain an accurate project schedule
  • Create and maintain the project budget and report on the current status of your projects
  • Review the project status with senior management on a bi-weekly basis
  • Manage all inspections and required state permits
  • Work with the staff and subcontractors to ensure that the project is completed as specified, on time, and within budget
  • Coordinate work of all major installation and fabrication on site
  • Supervise, delegate and oversee the work of technical staff and engineers on site
  • Involvement with PLC and SCADA testing and commissioning
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Solid communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to establish timelines and budget
  • Experience in cost estimation and negotiating
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to lead productive, multi-discipline meetings
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive work experience with key accountabilities for overseeing water and wastewater systems
  • Previous construction project experience is required
  • Must have water utilities construction oversight experience
  • Must have knowledge of NJ Public/Municipal project methods
  • Must be able to run a construction site relative to automation and controls upgrades
