Electrical Deigner - Contractor

Job Summary:
Responsible for Electrical Design in a Manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
1. Equipment Installations in a manufacturing environment
2. Panel Lay-outs
3. Read electrical and mechanical drawings
4. Select components
5. Compile BOM
6. Circuit Design
7. Create electrical drawings
8. Understand and explain National Electric code
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
1. Must have AutoCAD experience and familiarity with PLC Hardware and Electrical Circuit Designs.
2. Knowledge of Electrical Power Design
3. Familiarity with Electrical Safety Programs
4. Familiarity with NEC
5. Experience with AutoCad Electrical a plus,
6. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Required Credentials:
1. 2-5 years experience in Electrical Design. No specialized degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
