Job Summary:
Establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships per company's project execution model, resulting in customer satisfaction, project profitability, and repeat sales. Manage projects resulting in client and commercial success. Demonstrate value to the client by assuring that the client’s business goals are met and exceeded. This position works closely with an experienced project manager on all projects. This position typically manages small to medium size projects.
Essential Functions:
· Participate in the sales process by clarifying the scope, assisting in the technical solution, assisting to set strategy, assisting in the writing of the proposal and providing innovative solutions to meet or exceed customer needs and requirements.
· Develop and grow Client Relationships by maintaining contact with key decision makers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and demonstrating value.
· Consult with client on vision of automation; conceptualize automation; and developing automation plans, practices, standards, and specifications.
· Manage Projects throughout the life-cycle by:
- Developing plan to manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
- Overseeing project execution for planning, performance, quality, and profitability.
- Interviewing for additional scope, services, and added value opportunities.
- Managing outside contractors.
- Augmenting project team as needed.
- Assuring alignment with customer’s expectations.
- Running client Factory Acceptance Test.
- Supervising Field commissioning
· Takes lead in quality assurance by verifying client satisfaction, consistent with expectations in the following areas:
- User, Functional, and Detailed Design Specifications
- Site Acceptance Test
- Project release
- Customer relations
- Factory acceptance test
- Ongoing support and follow-up
- Ensure effective corrective action is taken upon receipt of complaint
Additional Responsibilities:
· Augment associate development though mentoring.
· Assist sales to optimize repeat business and to penetrate the sales account.
· Follow Advanced Automation values, practices, standards, policies, and procedures.
· Work flexible hours as needed to meet client needs.
· Problem solve as needed.
· Oversee material purchases and subcontractors.
· Oversee resource planning.
· Performs other duties or special projects as required.
Required Skills & Abilities:
· Strong organizational skills.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work on multiple tasks and/or projects.
· Speak, read, and write fluently in English.
· Strong computer skills.
Physical Requirements (if applicable):
· Ability to travel up to 40% - Passport required
· Physically able to be mobile and work safely in an industrial environment.
· Be conscious of safety rules and practices to protect against injury to self, others and machinery and product.
· Utilize safety equipment that can be utilized outside the workplace.
Required Credentials:
· BS or AS in related field, degree in engineering preferred.
· 2 years experience in related discipline.
